Since its onset, EUTECA has closely followed legislative developments affecting Caramel Colour at the EU level and in other international bodies such as the Codex Alimentarius. Moreover, EUTECA provides a forum for its members to discuss and exchange information about technical and scientific matters of common interest which affect or might affect the production or use of Caramel Colour. EUTECA also maintains a liaison with other trade associations such as the International Technical Caramel Association (ITCA) and the Confederation of Food and Drink Industries of the EU (CIAA).
